Safarionline.ca is a Canadian based Company and is run by the managing director of the South African company Indaba Explorations and the East Africa Company Indaba East Africa Ltd. These two companies has grown from a one man show with a minivan in 1999 to a well respected medium sized Tour Operator Company with offices, operational bases and a fleet of vehicles in Stellenbosch (South Africa) and Nairobi (Kenya).
Our Providers and Your Operational Support when in Africa:
Safarionline.ca makes use of the services of these two Destination Management Companies for all our ground handling. You will thus be in the very capable hands of a reliable, professional Tour Operators that is registered with SATSA (South African Tourism Services Association), NTB (Namibian Tourism Board), FGASA (Field Guides Association of South Africa) and SATIB (South African Tourism and Insurance Brokers) and has all the nessecary infrastructure and staff in place to ensure you spend more time enjoying things and less time organizing things.
We thus make use of our own fleet of vehicles for all group tour requests and use reputable Car Hire agencies (that we have long standing relationships and thus preferential rates with) for all self drive packages. This is all backed up by an operational support team on standby 24/7/365 in case of any problems.
We have agreements and discounted rates in place for a variety of destinations - from camping to Five Star Boutique hotels - the savings of which we carry over to you, the client.
About Pieter Mey:
I have grown up and lived in Africa all my life but have moved to Canada recently due to a loving wife :-) I still run my tour operator businesses in Southern and East Africa but have decided to start a personalized service to Canadians and Americans that would like to visit Africa. I take pride in all the tours I design and sell and are confident that the good word of mouth will sell my services better than Google :-)
