Who we are

Pura Aventura is a UK based tour operator specialising in active yet comfortable holidays in Spain & Latin America.

We were founded in 1999 by three friends who met in Patagonia and decided that active holidays in amazing places could be done in comfort.

What we do

Pura Aventura offers an exclusive range of small group, independent and tailor made holidays. Pura Aventura holidays will invariably have an active element: walking, skiing, riding or multi-active.

Our tailor made and independent holidays include skiing weekends, inn-to-inn walks, self drive explorations, corporate breaks, honeymoons and longer 'trips-of-a-lifetime'.

Our small-group holidays are usually of around 6 - 10 people. They range from weekend breaks in Spain to 3 week country combinations such as our Walk Wildlife: Peru & Galapagos Holiday. Use the menus on the left to choose your holiday by destination, type or activity - start with whatever matters most to you.
Where we go

We currently offer small group and tailor-made holidays to:

Spain (including the Picos de Europa, Pyrenees, La Rioja, Andalucia and the Camino de Santiago);

Chile (including Patagonia, the Atacama Desert, the Lake District and Skiing in the Andes);

Galapagos Islands and Ecuador (including the Amazon and Cloudforest);

Peru (including the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu; the Amazon; Lake Titicaca; Cusco and Lima);

Brazil (including Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Chapada Diamanta; Iguazu Falls; Amazon; Pantanal and some beautiful beaches);

Costa Rica; Antarctica; Argentina; Mexico and Nicaragua.
