Typically we are asked to make services for affinity groups (University Alumni / Zoo Associations / International Schools), and small groups of FITs (families, couples etc). So the 'kinds' of services with which we provide our guests are completely dependent upon their exact needs. For example: retired US military may need a helicopter to visit a remote battleground where they once fought; Textile experts may need to meet top experts in Thai & Laos & Burma; US Audubon Birdwatchers will determine a species of bird they wish to find, requiring services if top birding expert; Culinary / Foodies often require services of a chef as tour leader. Many "niche activity" trips require a special leader or expert, and we are practiced at finding them.

North by North-East Travel Services is based in Laos and Thailand, and operate specialty tailormade travel programs throughout Southeast Asia "themed" group excursions (for affinity groups); for families, couples, groups of friends as well as for corporate clientele. While our guides are adept at facilitating you in experiencing what are considered 'must see and must do' activities and sites in a participatory fashion, our guides often have a particular field of expertise which we can then match according to the goals / needs of your program, and your personal interests.
While every trip is different, there are however some common threads to be found throughout all. We believe for example that 'cultural exchange' (resulting in the ability to see from the eyes of another) is an important and valuable element of our travel. This however can only come about in an atmostphere of mutual respect, so for example when you visit a village with us, your guide will let you know how to pay respect to the elders in the local fashion.
