who we are

BANANI selects the most interesting destinations in Brazil and offers tours where the environmentally conscious visitor can directly interact with the local nature and culture, enjoying the original aspects of the place. Our programs have been developed through detailed studies of the region enabling us to reach the level of quality that our clients strive for.

We are an incoming tour operator, based in Rio de Janeiro, specialized in Brazilian nature and culture. Our staff and our operating partners are highly specialized and have been selected for their knowledge and reliability.

All our guides have the Embratur Guide Certificate and have been specially trained by Banan? in cooperation with biologists and other environmental experts, to offer the relevant information on the specific places we visit. They are based in Rio de Janeiro and enjoy what they do.
When traveling to other destinations we cooperate with agencies and operators with the same excellent level of staff-quality that we strive for. Their guides are typically English speaking locals with specific knowledge of the region to satisfy your curiosities and provide other relevant information.
