Alternatively you can choose to have our guided assistance for only a portion of the trip.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :

Cape Town, Cape Cadogan
In Cape Town you will be met by Roar Africa. Roar Africa will take you to your hotel – The Cape Cadogan. This boutique hotel is well known for its comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. The reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquillity. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde who was renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the 19th century.

Day 2 :

Cape Town: Cape Peninsula Tour
Each day is yours to choose to spend as you wish. These are merely suggestions of things to do to get the most out of your trip. We are at your beck and call. If you want to be left alone, just tell us. If you want us to take you to some place or make a suggestion just let us know. A possibility for today would be to tour to Cape Point along the Atlantic coastline to the Cape of Good Hope, first seen by a European in 1488 when Diaz sailed around it on his search for an ocean route to the East Indies. We will take a boat ride to Seal Island where approx 700 Cape Fur Seals have made
their home. Watch closely for possible sightings of whales and dolphins! From Hout Bay we tour over Chapman’s Peak and towards Cape Boulders beach, home to the only colony of Penguins in Africa.

Day 3 :

Cape Town: Robben Island Tour
Today we head for Robben Island, former prison of Nelson Mandela. We will take a boat from the Waterfront. Upon our return you will have some time to shop and explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This offers, music, live performances, plenty of restaurants, buskers, jazz musicians and sailors who all converge here to play. Greenmarket Square and Heritage Square are a hub of fun, with up-market eateries. Cobble-stoned and boasting beautiful architecture from yesteryear, both are a must-see.
A fabulous option is to walk through the Bo-Kaap area where the Cape Malay people (of Indonesian origin) live. At Marco’s African Place the food is as authentic as the live bands that spice things up. The Muslim people here keep strong traditions, and are friendly and approachable. Explore the inner city castle and other cultural delights unique to Cape Town.

Day 4 :

Cape Town: Cable Car & Kirstenbosch Gardens
We will take the cable car up Table Moutain so that you can experience the incredible view. The beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens at the foot of Table Mountain, cover an area of 528 hectares with 36 hectares of cultivated garden. The gardens are a celebration of South African flora - showcasing only indigenous South African plants. Fynbos, proteas, cycads and rolling lawns are intermingled with streams and ponds and well-laid out pathways for easy walking. A great variety of birds inhabit the gardens and the sweeping views from the upper slopes are spectacular. Whether for a casual stroll, a more strenuous walk or a lazy picnic, the gardens are a must-see when visiting Cape Town.

Day 5 :

Cape Town: Winelands Klein Genot

After breakfast we will drive you out to the winelands for 2 days of spectacular cuisine and world class wines. Nestled between towering mountains in the beautiful Cape winelands lies the magnificent Franschhoek Valley. This is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and our top chefs create international cuisine. Set in the breath-taking Franschhoek valley, Klein Genot is all about enjoying the good life. The luxury of this choice of Franschhoek accommodation lies in the details in each individually decorated suite at Klein Genot with original artworks and hand quilted French linen creating a tranquil and welcoming sanctuary. There is also a world class spa onsite. Enjoy olive tasting, chocolate and wine pairings, cheese and wine pairing and truly magnificent scenery.

Day 6 :

Same as above: 2nd day in the winelands

Day 7 :

Day 7,8,9 Safari: Lion Sands Safari Lodge, Sabi Sands
The international award winning Lion Sands Lodge is ultra luxurious, yet simple and uncluttered. The lodge is about overriding exclusivity with complete privacy, where each suite is operated as a private villa. Neither word nor photograph can capture the sense of the pure beauty which is breathed in when opening the carved wooden doors leading into this private recluse – arguably the worlds finest suite. The Lodge comprises six generously sized privately situated villas, each with a separate living room, heated swimming pool and an open plan en-suite bathroom with an enclosure for the outdoor shower – 6-star luxury in the middle of the bush. The color scheme of ebony and ivory is interpreted in a modern style, while selected African accessories blend the old world with the new to create Afro-Euro chic. Breathtaking views of the Sabie River, which has flowing water all year around, can be viewed through the oversized windows of your villa or from your private viewing terrace. Baby elephants bathing in the river, zebra, gnu and the large Nile crocodile are the only neighbors you shall see.
