SUN: ROME
Arrival in Rome. A Homeric Tours representative welcomes you to Italy and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

MON: ROME / ASSISI / SIENA / FLORENCE
After breakfast, depart by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Upon arrival, you will have time to leisurely explore this little medieval city. A visit to the Basilica of San Francesco is highly recommended where you will find masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. This afternoon, depart to Siena the gothic city constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This monumental and medieval city is encircled by its’ walls and splendid square Piazza del Campo, designed in the shape of a shell. Enjoy your afternoon and explore all of the beauty this magical city has to offer. In the late afternoon proceed to Florence. This evening, you will dine in your hotel. (B,D)

TUE: FLORENCE
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today, your guided tour will visit of one of the most famous cities in the world, cradle of the Italian Renaissance. Your walking city tour will take you to the magnificent downtown including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore with Brunelleschi’s splendid dome and Giotto’s belfry, Piazza Della Signora with the great Loggia, the Museum of the Academy with the statue of David by Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio and more. This evening dinner will be at a local restaurant. (B,D)

WED: FLORENCE / PISA / PADUA / VENICE
After breakfast depart for Pisa, city of art & culture. Visit the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as the “Square of Miracles: where you will find the Cathedral, the Leaning Towers and the Baptistery. This afternoon, visit to Padua to see the Basilica of St. Anthony. Afterwards, proceed to Venice. This evening’s dinner will be at your hotel. (B,D)

THU: VENICE
After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of Venice. Visit St. Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the prisons. Your afternoon is at leisure. Take an optional excursion to Murano, Burano and Torcello. You will dine and overnight in Venice. (B,D)

FRI: VENICE / SAN MARINO / ROME
This morning breakfast is at your hotel. Departure to San Marino, upon arrival, you will have free time to explore one of the smaller states in the world with its’ own currency, stamps and political system for over nine centuries. This afternoon proceed to Rome. This evening you are free to explore this historic and breathtaking city. (B)

SAT: ROME
Breakfast at your hotel. Today, you will see some of the most important sights of the Eternal city. Among the treasures that you will be seeing today include, the Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Castle Sant’ Angelo and San Peter Square with its Basilica. The remainder of your day is at leisure to shop and enjoy your surroundings. (B)

SUN: ROME / NAPLES / POMPEII / SORRENTO
Breakfast at your hotel. Leaving Rome the coach will take the “Sun Route” driving through the regions of Lazio and Campania. Arrive in Naples for a short panoramic city tour: Mergellina, Castel dell’Ovo Plesbiscito Square, the Royal Palace and the port. After lunch drive to Pompeii to visit the excavations. Continue on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

MON: SORRENTO / CAPRI / ROME
After breakfast you board the boat to the island of Capri. Visit the Blue Grotto in small rowing boats. Free time after lunch for personal activities. In the
afternoon depart for Rome. (B,L)

You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home. Same day arrival. (B)
