DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MONDAY - NEW YORK
Depart JFK for overnight flight to Athens. Full service on board. (D,B)

DAY 2: TUESDAY - ATHENS
Arrival in Athens. A Homeric representative welcomes you to Greece and transfers you to your hotel.

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY - ATHENS
Morning city sightseeing tour of Athens. Visit the Parthenon and its museum, the ancient Olympic Stadium and more. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

DAY 4: THURSDAY - ATHENS / MYCENAE / OLYMPIA
Today, begin your Classical Tour of Greece. Millenniums of history unfold as you drive through the Corinth Canal and visit Mycanae, Nauplia and Epidaurus. Continue on through the Peleponnese to Olympia for overnight. (B,D)

DAY 5: FRIDAY - OLYMPIA / DELPHI
Drive past the beautiful town of Patra on the way to Rion. Cross the Rion-Antirion bridge and continue on to Delphi for overnight. (B,D)

DAY 6: SATURDAY - DELPHI
Spend your day enjoying the ancient site of Delphi where you will visit the Temple of Apollo, the Castilla Springs and much more. Overnight in Delphi. (B,D)

DAY 7: SUNDAY - DELPHI / METEORA / KALAMBAKA
Morning visit of the museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka and enjoy an afternoon visit of breathtaking monasteries of Meteora. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka. (B,D)

DAY 8: MONDAY - KALAMBAKA / THESSALONIKI
Drive to the sacred Macedonian town of Dion for a visit. Continue on to Thessaloniki, the largest town in Northern Greece. Visit the museum and tour this ancient city. (B,D)

DAY 9: TUESDAY - THESSALONIKI
Morning drive to Pella, Alexander the Great’s capital, for a visit. Continue on to Vergina to visit the tomb of King Philip and the famous "Vergina Treasures". On to Lefkadia, where you visit the excavations. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 10: WEDNESDAY - THESSALONIKI / ATHENS
Begin your return drive to Athens through the Tempi Valley, Larissa and Thermopylae, where you will have a brief visit. Evening arrival into Athens for overnight. (B)

DAY 11: THURSDAY - ATHENS
Today, enjoy your day at leisure. Find fabulous bargains at the Monistiraki Flea Market, take an optional one-day three-island cruise, or spend the day at one of the many beaches. (B)

DAY 12: FRIDAY - ATHENS/NEW YORK
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Athens. (B)
