Costa Rica Highlights - Tortuguero, Arenal Volcano, & Manuel Antonio

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Miami/San Jose
Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival in San Jose, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - San Jose/Tortuguero
Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in San Jose to take you to Tortuguero by shared ground and boat transfers. Breakfast on the way. Lunch upon arrival to the lodge. In the afternoon, shared visit to Tortuguero small village. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight at selected lodge in Tortuguero.

Day 3
Early in the morning, you will take a shared boat tour to Tortuguero National Park where you will have the chance to see several species of flora and fauna. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the lodge. Free afternoon at the lodge. Overnight at selected lodge in Tortuguero.

Day 4 - Tortuguero/Arenal
Breakfast at the lodge. After, take a shared boat and ground transfer to Guapiles where you will connect with a private ground transfer to your hotel in Arenal.

Day 5
Breakfast included at the hotel. In the morning we tour the Arenal Volcano. This tour will allow you to enjoy the most extraordinary scenery of the Arenal Volcano hiking the lower slopes of the colossus. The walk begins in an area near the active sector of the volcano on a trail that leads across recent lava streams on the mountain side. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 6 - Arenal/Manuel Antonio
After breakfast, take a private ground transfer from Arenal to Manuel Antonio. Arrival and transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 7
Morning tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park. This leisurely hike will take visitors through the tropical rain forest in one of the national treasures of our country, Manuel Antonio National Park. The pace of this adventure is determined by the your abilities and interests, and the abundance of wildlife you want to stop, observe, or learn about. Sloths, raccoons, iguanas, various birds and the endangered squirrel monkey are just some of the species that can be watch in the park. The guide will also teach you the history of the Quepoa Indians and Costa Rica’s past in regard to this stunningly beautiful Manuel Antonio area. After the tour, you can stay in the park to take a dip in the warm waters of the Pacific or to continue discovering the other trails.

Day 8
Enjoy the full day at leisure enjoying the beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio, or choose from optional tours.

Day 9 - Manuel Antonio/San Jose
After breakfast, take a private ground transfer from Manuel Antonio to San Jose. Arrival and transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 10 - San Jose/Miami
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
