Detailed Description
DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town. In Cape Town you will be met by Roar Africa. Roar Africa will take you to your hotel – The Cape grace. The Cape Grace which is located on its own Quay at the Waterfront. Luxury rooms are conveniently situated on the ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel and offer warmth and elegant style. Personalized details such as an intimate reading area complete with guest’s own book and newspaper selection help to create a welcoming atmosphere. Luxury rooms can also be booked with inter leading doors - ideal for families.
As with every Cape Grace room, Luxury rooms feature French doors that reveal scenic views of the passing yachts in the marina, the majestic Table Mountain as well as the Waterfront harbor. A fabulous option is to walk through the Bo-Kaap area where the Cape Malay people (of Indonesian origin) live. At Marco’s African Place the food is as authentic as the live bands that spice things up. The Muslim people here keep strong traditions, and are friendly and approachable. Explore the inner city castle and other cultural delights unique to Cape Town.
Day 2 – Cape Town: Cape Peninsula Tour, Seal Island & Penguins
A possibility for today would be to tour to Cape Point along the Atlantic coastline to the Cape of Good Hope, first seen by a European in 1488 when Diaz sailed around it on his search for an ocean route to the East Indies. We will take a boat ride to Seal Island where approx 700 Cape Fur Seals have made their home. Watch closely for possible sightings of whales and dolphins! From Hout Bay we tour over Chapman’s Peak and towards Cape Boulders beach, home to the only colony of Penguins in Africa.
Day 3 – Cape Town: Table Mountain & Robben Island
Weather dependant we will take the cable car up Table mountain first thing in the morning to enjoy the view. We then head for Robben Island, former prison of Nelson Mandela for 27 years. We return to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This offers, music, live performances, plenty of restaurants, buskers, jazz musicians and sailors who all converge here to play.
Day 4 Cape Town, Shark Dive Town
We depart at 6am for the Great White Shark experience. Apex predators will pick you up from your hotel. They will return you at 14:00pm to your hotel. During the high season which extends from mid April through to mid September it is almost a daily occurrence to see these huge sharks, some of which are over 15ft, leaping into the air whilst trying to capture their prey, the Cape fur seal.

A number of activities can be undertaken – we can arrange the order once we have the itinerary in place. The 'Flight of Angels' provides a fabulous vista of the falls, the upstream river and its many islands and for the more adventurous there is microlighting with stunning views of the Fall.
