In this tour, we start in Buenos Aires, one of the busiest and most elegant cities in the world and is also world famous for its Tango, shopping, leather goods, and steakhouses. From Buenos Aires, we fly 2 hours north to Iguazu Falls, on the border of Brazil and Paraguay. One of nature’s most amazing wonders, Iguazu Falls has over 275 falls, along over 1.5 miles of the Iguazu River. After one night at the falls, we venture into the jungle to stay at the Yacuntinga Lodge. Yacutinga Lodge and its 560 hectare private Natural Reserve is a one of a kind Eco-Tourism lodge in Argentina.

Detailed Description

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Miami/Buenos Aires
Depart Miami on the overnight flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 2 - Arrival in Buenos Aires
Upon arrival, you will be met after clearing customs and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, we join a city tour of Buenos Aires, an impressive city that combines the atmosphere of an old European town with the features of a Latin American capital. In this tour, you will come to appreciate its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, and stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta.

Day 3
Full-day excursion to an estancia for a typical barbeque lunch and a folklore/gaucho show. Here we will learn about the customs of the Argentinean gauchos, and their abilities on horseback that will leave you breathless. The meat will be cooked a lo gaucho outdoors on the barbeque. Afternoon, return to Buenos Aires.

Day 4
Enjoy the day at leisure exploring Buenos Aires.

At night we celebrate the city of tango. You will be treated to an unforgettable tango show performed by the best dancers and singers, while enjoying a delicious meal. Return to the hotel.

Day 5
Enjoy the day at leisure exploring Buenos Aires.

Day 6 – Buenos Aires/Iguazu Falls
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon guided tour of the falls. Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to visitor center inside Iguazu National Park. To get from the visitor center to the beginning of Upper Path, Lower Path and Devil’s Throat you will board a little train that runs from the visitor center to the paths and between them. You may also walk from the visitor center to the upper and lower paths but not to Devil’s Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center.

Day 7 – Iguazu Falls/Yacutinga Lodge
Pick up from your hotel for a private transfer, with English speaking guide, to take you to the Raíces Argentinas building, the meeting point with the Yacutinga Lodge vehicle. From here, the transfer provided by the lodge will drive you for 1 hour and a half through the Urugua-I State Park towards the extreme northeast corner of the country, where we switch to a 4x4 truck and continue during half an hour towards the shore of the Iguazú River. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will Check in and have briefing about the place, the system of the Lodge and the different activities. Welcome dinner. Overnight at Yacutinga Lodge.

Day 8
After an early breakfast, enjoy a short hike to the San Francisco River and a floating through quiet waters, ideal for photo safari. This floating tour is very secure, the water of the river is gentle and it goes down stream. The possibility to observe wild fauna through this “Gallery Forest” from a very close distance exists, since fauna is more active in the early morning. Return to the Lodge to have Lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a wild life excursion, guided by an expert, to the various interpretation trails. In the early evening, visit one of the observation towers in order to enjoy night games with scopes, binoculars and strong spotlights. Return to the Lodge for dinner. Overnight at Yacutinga Lodge.

NOTE: Please bear in mind that Yacutinga Lodge keeps the right to modify the activities so as to provide the guest with the best option during his visit. This means that, depending on weather conditions or on any visitor's specific interest, they commit themselves to adapt the itinerary for the passenger benefit.

Day 9 – Yacutinga Lodge/Buenos Aires/Miami
Breakfast and free-time to visit the Visitors Centre, explore one of the self-guided trails, listing (complete checklist of viewed fauna), packing and relaxing at the pool area. Then, transfer from the lodge to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires, arrival at the domestic airport and transfer to the international airport for your flight back home.
