Detailed Description
The Iguaçu National Park, which embraces the Iguaçu Waterfalls tourist complex, is a forest reserve with 185 thousand hectares of area. The reserve is one of the last vast concentrations of Atlantic Rainforest in the south of Brazil. In 1986 UNESCO granted to the Park the title of Humankind Natural Heritage, definitely protecting the huge reserve that surrounds the Iguaçu Waterfalls.
Rio de Janeiro, the former capital, is not only a large city with many beaches. Most often it is associated with being the capital of samba, carnival and sandy beaches. It is also a bustling business city, a multicultural melting pot and a city situated in a beautiful natural environment. That’s why we will spend three days enjoying the main beauties of the city such as: Corcovado, Santa Teresa, Tijuca Forest, downtown etc.
Forgotten for 200 hundred years, Paraty was "rediscovered" in the 1970s and has been restored to its original colonial style of construction. Historical cobblestone alleys in a tropical setting, jeep excursions to jungle waterfalls, schooner day sails to white sandy beaches and excellent cuisine are among the attractions.
