What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?
We had a great time. The travel company did an excellent job of selecting hotels that were affordable, but also well-located, clean and welcoming. The train schedules were just what we wanted and it was great to be able to just show up, board the train, find our reserved seats and enjoy the journey. The only suggestion we would make is improved maps locating the hotels and perhaps directions on alternatives for getting from the train stations to the hotels.
What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
Budapest, Prague and Vienna were all fabulous. We were in Prague for Easter Monday, so we were able to enjoy the special markets and Easter traditions. Our hotel in Vienna was adjacent to the Prater and out 13 year old enjoyed the arcades and rides.
If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
We would probably skip Bratislava. Although that would make for a long train ride from Budapest to Prague, we feel that the time would have been better spent in one of those cities.
