What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?
Over-all, the trip was fantastic! There was a little bit of confusion involved in the catching the couchette to Rome, from Paris...We had arrived in Paris, had 1-1/2 hours until the couchette left Paris...to our horror, upon arrival, we found out that the couchette was leaving from an all-together different Paris station! Scary only because we had no idea where we were, where we needed to be, and of course the language barrier did not help! Aside from that, all other hotel arrangements and transportation arrangements were smooth.
What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
We went to Amsterdam, then Rome, Florence and Venice...the thing that stood out the most in each place was the perfect positioning of our hotel. Just as requested, and promised, our hotel was within walking distance of major sites and in convenient proximity to everything! I think Rome was the most awe-inspiring place we visited, although we loved every bit of it!
If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
Now that we have been there, we have a better idea of our options...I would definitely spend LESS on hotel accommodations, leaving more money for adventure in each place. We stayed at 3 and 4 -star hotels; which was lovely because it was our honeymoon (and, yes, location was great)...however, I would've rather saved money here.
