What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?
This following comment is about the tour company, not the travel agency we work with: We did not know that Brendan "just" booked the Danube tour through AMAWaterways. When we arrived in Prague, we were looking for someone with a Brendan sign, not one with Amacello (name of the ship). The extra tours in Istanbul were very good and we were lucky to be able to spend the extra days there and not be as crammed for time and tours. Since Brendan as a tour company was in a turmoil and had to bow out of the Irish tour, that made it a little confusing for the time between Istanbul and Dublin, and even the extension day at the end of Irish tour.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
I think the reverse trip from Istanbul to Prague, then Ireland would have been better. We were on the ship tour for 23 days or so. I wish the ship had a laundry on board, so we could wash clothes. The onboard laundry charged 3 euros for a shirt - most of my shirts only cost 5 euros to start out with - so why would I pay that much just to wash them.
