Schengen Visa needed?

I didn’t expect to spend over 10 hours in Frankfurt for my layover, but figured since I am, might as well tour the area! I read somewhere that you might need a Schengen Visa? Does anyone have experience with this?

You’ll need to get your Visa squared away before arriving at the airport. If you’re an American Citizen though, like Roland said, you can do without the Schengen Visa.
