cost of airfare for 10 to Hawaii

I just was wondering basic cost for 4 people from Sioux Falls SD and 6 people from Denver CO to Hawaii. Time of year does not matter and island does not matter, I am going for the cheapest rate. This would be for a wedding party and 2 of the people from Denver would be staying for a week, the rest of the party I am unsure of how long. I am just starting the planning and only need a best guess on price, thanks

There is great fluctuation in airfares these days. The time of year you go definitely determines price. Off season rates are usually available the latter part of September, all of October, most of November (exclude Thanksgiving) and the first two weeks of December.

Are you looking for air separately or as part of a package? With Hawaii, you will often do better pricing it with a package. That is, adding hotel (or condo) and/ or a car. From Denver, you could probably find air during these times from $550 - $650. A package might be better and another option is getting to either SFO (Southwest has a cheap $69 ea way fare from DEN to SFO) or LAX and catch a non-stop flight there through a tour operator. There is one right now who is offering the second fare at 50% off.
