Photo Competition Details

Here’s how the competition works:

• You can submit as many photos as you’d like for the competition.
• The community votes on your photo by giving it a 1 – 5 star rating. You’ll be given a URL which shows all the photos you submitted, so you can invite your friends to vote for your photos
• The winner will be announced on the 1st of the month on a quarterly basis and awarded a $250 cash prize.
• This competition, while a great way for the community to engage with each other, is also part of Zicasso’s corporate philanthropy program. Each quarter, we will make a cash donation to a non-profit in honor of the winner. The winner gets to select the recipient non-profit organization related to sustainable travel, such as:
  • The International Ecotourism Society
  • Ethical Traveler
  • Sustainable Travel International
  • Global Heritage Fund
• The quarterly cash donation to a non-profit starts at $250 and will keep increasing as our company grows. In fact, Zicasso has committed 1% of profits and 1% of the company’s equity to charitable giving for travel-related causes
• Winning criteria is based on a combination of average rating score and number of votes for the photo
• Each photo gets to compete for at least 14 days. If a photo is submitted less than 14 days before the next winner is announced, it will automatically be included in the following quarter’s competition
• Zicasso reserves right to make the final decision on winning photo.
