Day 2 :
We'll pick you up after breakfast. Today we tour to Cape Point along the Atlantic coastline to the Cape of Good Hope, first seen by a European in 1488 when Diaz sailed around it on his search for an ocean route to the East Indies. We will take a boat
ride to Seal Island where approx 700 Cape Fur Seals have made their home. Watch closely for possible sightings of whales and dolphins!
From Hout Bay we tour over Chapman’s Peak and towards Cape Boulders beach, home to the only colony of Penguins in Africa.
A fabulous option at sunset is to walk through the Bo-Kaap area where the Cape Malay people (of Indonesian origin) live. At Marco’s African Place the food is as authentic as the live bands that spice things up. The Muslim people here keep strong traditions, and are friendly and approachable. Later on, venture to Loop Street, where restaurants with balconies overlooking the street are popular for drinks and al fresco dining. Jazz bars, nightspots and funky late-night coffee shops keep this street going all night long. Just start walking and fall in where the vibe appeals.

African décor in earthy hues, climate-control for a cool summer sanctuary, expansive wooden deck from which to soak up the views of the Zambezi River, often to the sights and sounds of birds, elephant and grunting pods of hippo. The islands in front of camp are intriguing and form part of the braided channel of the Zambezi River with several rapids, a main channel and dense vegetation.
The Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it "Mosi-oa-Tunya" -- the smoke that thunders and the Falls are remarkable. There is a magic about them manifested in the towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and crocodiles lurk.
A number of activities can be undertaken. The 'Flight of Angels' provides a fabulous vista of the falls, the upstream river and its many islands and for the more adventurous there is micro-lighting with stunning views of the Falls.
