DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1, NEW YORK:
Depart JFK for an overnight flight to Venice. Full service on board. (D,B)

DAY 2, VENICE / ITALY:
Arrival in Venice. Our representative welcomes you to Italy and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of your day at leisure.

DAY 3, VENICE / ITALY:
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a half-day tour of Venice. Visit St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the beauty of the famed Murano glassware and the romance of the gondola’s gliding along the canals. Remainder of your day at leisure. (B,L)

DAY 4, VENICE / CRUISING:
Afternoon transfer to the pier to board your 7-day cruise. Afternoon departure from Venice. (B,D)

DAY 5, BARI / ITALY:
Enjoy some time in Bari, where you will see fairy tale houses that resemble chanterelle mushrooms and little round houses with cone-topped roofs called trulli – both dating back from 3000 BC. (B,L,D)

DAY 6, KATAKOLON / OLYMPIA / GREECE:
This morning arrive in Katakolon-Greece. The port was originally used for exporting currants. Today it is the best port for accessing Olympia. The optional excursion to the birthplace of the Olympic Games organized in honor of Zeus since 776 BC, is strongly suggested. (B,L,D)

DAY 7, IZMIR / TURKEY:
Arrive in Izmir-Turkey. A modern city set on a fantastic coastline. Take an optional tour to the ruins of ancient Ephesus. (B,L,D)

DAY 8, ISTANBUL / TURKEY:
Early morning arrival in Istanbul. Take an optional excursion to the city of Istanbul where you will visit Agnia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and much more. (B,L,D)

DAY 9, AT SEA:

DAY 10, DUBROVNIK / CROATIA:
Today arrive in Dubrovnik, the ancient city set on a peninsula and surrounded by a 1,000 year old protective wall. It is said to be one of the prettiest spots in the world, as if you stepped back time. (B,L,D)

DAY 11, VENICE / NEW YORK:
Disembark the ship at the port of Venice. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the airport for your return flight to New York. (B,L).
