What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Peerless. It was the best organized trip we've ever taken.

And, by the way--normally we're do-it-yourself people. We went to Morocco completely cold and had a great time there. Of course one pays more to arrange things through an agency. But I'm really glad we did, because we learned a ton about the country. In China, one avoids guides because they never know anything interesting about the sites. But in Turkey, we consistently had guides who not only knew but cared about Greek history, Roman history, the Ottomans, the Hittites, et al and who could answer all our questions. I was especially grateful for Oshan in Istanbul and Ozkan in Cappadocia. You know well how professional Ozkan is. Oshan was a mine of information on church history, Istanbul history, the sultans, architecture, and everything else we asked about. My son is even interested now in studying Turkish. We came away with such a deeper understanding, and I think a future appreciation for Turkey, much more than just a vacation.

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Pieter was great. Gave excellent service and inspired confidence in planning a trip online. He was always prompt in his replys. He gets a strong 5 stars.

The lodges selected ranged from good to excellent. I felt we got good value for the amount paid. Even while on the road, Pieter kept in touch with us via email and even a phone call. There were also 24 hour phone contacts in South Africa should we have needed additional assistance. We found the Namibian people to be very friendly and helpful and never felt the least amount of danger. It is a very safe and worthwhile country to visit in southern Africa. My husband has been to 191 countries and I to 138 and we can say that Namibia rates within the top five.

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Morocco was awesome. Traveloteca did a great job in arranging everything. I would also include in the itinerary a visit to Volubilis. It is an absolute must see.

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Overall, it was a fabulous experience for my husband and I. Although many of the hotel amenities in Kathmandu were out-dated and frankly not working, the service was good and most of all the guides were very good and knowledgeable.

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Several of our group of 8 said that this was the best vacation they ever had! This private guided tour was designed for our group of 8 friends. We were a very well-traveled and well-educated group in our 50's and 60's (Stanford professor, doctors, government officials, etc.)

Visiting the north of India our group of 8 had 3 people from Wanderlust Travels (excellent tour guide, driver, and luggage boy) traveling with us at all times while in the south we had only a driver who spoke only limited English. We had a guide for one afternoon in the south, so the experience was uneven.

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Exceeded expectations. For the last 2 nights, we booked for a homestay to get an authentic experience in Cusco, but we didn't like the place after taking a look. The tour guide arranged us with a very nice hotel in no time and didn't charge us extra. That's what we call superior customer service! :)

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

Great trip and it was enjoyed by all.

I felt that Rosie and I worked well together in setting this up. She was available whenever I wanted to discuss anything (pre and during). I would definitively work through her again. I had some requests that she helped with (discussions on laundry, transfer of suitcases between cities, etc) that were very helpful. I would definitively recommend Rosie to others making arrangements.
