We may have about 14 days (end of March/mid April, 2008) to visit Vietnam. Can someone suggest us an itinerary? Which places would you suggest to stay longer? If there is a resort/serene location good for recharge, we may consider ending a trip there.

I just shopped around for international flights (from San Francisco to Vietnam), the tickets are a little under $1,000 for end of March/mid April, 2008. Is that reasonable?

I am planning to visit Vietnam next spring. Besides the usual sightseeing, I am also interested in doing some volunteer work there. Can anyone suggest an organization that can take a short-term volunteer for a few weeks?
