We are thinking to do a short trip to Venezuela for 4 ~ 5 days in late January (we live in New York). We have not decided where to go exactly. Caracas sounds interesting, but many people said that it is very dangerous. Can anyone suggest whether we should spend a few days in Caracas? What would be other places in Venezuela that we must see?

My friend and I are planning to travel in Venezula in December. We want to see the famous Angel Falls (supposed the tallest fall in the world), but we couldn’t find ANY information about how to get there. Can anyone help? Thank you so much!
