I can't wait for my trip, although I just read that Moscow is the world's most expensive city to live in! I hope that doesn't transfer too much to the traditional market!

I keep hearing aout fantastic Russian dishes with meat- but i haven't heard any ravings about meatless dishes.

I want to see Russia and I've been to Europe a few times. I think it's be safer for me (a twenty's American woman) to go in a tour. I am nervous about being surrounded by embarrassing Americans for three weeks. Not ALL americans are embarrassing, but some of them are. I'm looking at Trafalgar, Globus and Contiki. For Contiki, I like the idea of being w/people in my age group, but am sort of afraid it will be too much of a party crowd-maybe less partiers on it?-they'll probably be on the Greek Island tour. Trafalgar and Globus offer "first class" tours.
