West - South Europe

My company is sending me out to Rome in November for 3 days. I was able to push it to 5 full days (7 total including flights in and out). Since I'm pretty much based in Rome with the exception of 2 days, what are some good side trips to take?

Planning to spend 8 full days in Italy late October, early November, mixing art and history in Rome and Florence with maybe Sienna or Assisi. Independent traveling but not wild about dealing with traffic in the cities. Any suggestions?

Our company cruise will be stopping by the ports in Livorno. We wanted to visit Pisa but wanted to know what the distance was like and how we should go about traveling between the two locations?

My husband and I will be leaving for Munich in September and plan on spending a few days site seeing. If you have any recommendations for must see sites and ways of transportation, we’d be GREATLY appreciative!

Hopefully this hotel will be close to Piazza Bra or the Arena. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I did some random searches to see which sites are must sees, but thought maybe someone here can give me some advice.

We’re planning to spend a week in Paris most likely in July. How much money should we prepare to spend with transportation/food/souvenirs etc?
