Monterosso al Mare – Stay at the picturesque beach resort of Fegina. Take walking tours through the Convento dei Cappuccini which sits atop a hill overlooking the old quarter and the the thirteeth-century Aand Giovanni Battista church.
Vernazza – Considered by many to be the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre towns, Vernazza contains a lovely harbor shadowed by a towering castle, lovely church and amazing antique homes poised on surrounding cliffs.
Corniglia – A peaceful hamlet set overlooking the ocean. Although Corniglia doesn’t have a beach, it offers visitors gorgeous terraces and vineyards to explore.
Manarola – Situated on rugged coastline dotted with vineyards, Manarola provides wonderful views, a small, adventurous harbor and a church square where you can participate in various activities with the locals.
Riomaggiore – Wander through stone houses bearing slate roofs as you visit such places as the Dei Disciplinati oratory, the Madonna di Montenero sanctuary, Guardiola Tower, the Castle of Riomaggiore, or go on romantic outings organized by the Environmental Education Center of Torre Guardiola. Don’t miss out on the beaches and ample water sports either!
